Create an OpenID identity at http://myopenid.com
The example username below is 'gildenstern' but the later examples use 'rosencrantz' as the username.

The plone site will automatically reroute OpenID users to the OpenID password authentication page if the OpenID user is not currently logged in. After sign-in to the OpenID, the user is automatically routed back to the plone home page logged in as their OpenID user. OpenID/SECOORA website logins are only required once per browser session or after logging out. [BR]]

After logging into the SECOORA plone website the first time as an OpenID user, click on the circled page icon(the name 'rosen' is only populated for the example image) to edit their user profile

OpenID users can edit their personal,organization or other profile information of interest on their 'Personal Preferences' webpage
This page is also where we will add an entry field or method for listing valid machine IP's that should have access and download permissions from the SECOORA website. The IP's listed can be tracked and associated with the OpenID user.

OpenID users are able to be better profiled by the SECOORA website administration for data access/download, without having to provide website access/permissions for the rest of the website
